The Marketing Director will be responsible for developing, implementing and executing the company’s marketing, digital promotion and public relations strategies for all brands including Falcon’s Treehouse, Falcon’s Digital Media and Falcon’s Licensing.
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and programs, both short and long range, to support sales and revenue objectives of the organization.
Oversee implementation of the Marketing strategy - including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR Development and implementation of the Brand strategy.
Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all marketing and communications channels.
Guide the day to day activities of the marketing team.
Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition.
Ensure the marketing objectives are implemented by the marketing team.
Research, analyze, and monitor financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity.
Develop and manage the marketing operating budget.
Plan and oversee advertising and promotion activities including print and online electronic media.
Plan and coordinate public affairs, and communications efforts, to include public relations and community outreach.
Organize company conferences, trade shows, and major events, including oversight of booth design and construction logistics.
Evaluate and recommend distribution channel development programs.
Determine marketing consultants and negotiate contract terms and conditions for services.
Serves as liaison with outside agencies and co-sponsorship entities on ongoing promotional campaigns.
Oversee development and production of promotional and collateral materials.
Develop and recommend service and product positioning to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
Ensure effective control of marketing results and take corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objective falls within designated budgets.
Assist with the development of proposals for potential projects, ensuring compliance to RFP requirements when applicable.
Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
Monitor potential competitors and their marketing activities.
Oversee development and maintenance of customer database.
Guide the preparation of marketing activity reports for presentation to executive management.
Promote corporate culture through internal marketing.
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
Must have or be able to quickly acquire knowledge of company structure (mission, goals, and objectives), and policies and procedures.
Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns.
Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics and Google Adwords.
Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques.
Strong leadership skills.
Excellent communications skills.
Strong analytical and project management skills.
Strategic mindset, with ability to make difficult decisions.
BS degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field.
5-10 years of relevant experience preferred.
