The Project Manager represents the company to clients and vendors and is responsible for selling, bidding, and managing projects including project revenue and margin. The Project Manager consults with senior executives on contracts and works collaboratively with Engineering and Production to achieve company targets.
Develop and maintain new & existing client relationships with business managers, scenic designers, and other parties especially in the Broadway and Theme Park markets.
Prepare competitive estimates for projects based on bid conferences & RFPs including:
Assessing and accounting for variable
Consulting with executive team to review strategy and
Consulting with Engineering and Production as needed on labor, materials allocation,
Submit estimates to clients and negotiate price, schedules, payment terms, and general contract conditions in conjunction with Finance
Serve as primary client contact during construction and throughout the life of the
Prepare job orders for awarded Review and approve purchase orders.
Organize and run project meetings to establish scope of work, milestones and delivery dates, as well as clear and constant communication between team members.
Provide leadership and oversight to ensure work conforms to client design requirements and contract specifications.
Review and monitor production calendar to keep project on track technically, financially, and
Prepare estimates for changes as needed to submit to clients for
Provide complete and up-to-date project information to Engineering and Production to identify potential challenges and collaboratively develop solutions throughout the duration of

BFA or MFA in Technical Production or Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or construction-related field preferred.
At least 5 years of solid industry experience in technical theatre and custom
Experience working in Theme Park fabrication and installations a plus.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and
Strong writing and financial skills; ability to perform costing/estimating
Excellent negotiating skills and ability to understand contract terms and
Ability to make critical trade-offs when prioritizing short-term and long-term
Outstanding relationship skills; Team oriented with highly collaborative work
