Two Bit Circus has opened a micro-amusement park in DTLA!
What is a micro-amusement park, you ask? A 50,000 ft² venue in the Arts District featuring re-imagined midway and arcade games, interactive story rooms, re-imagined carnival food, mastered mixology, a robot bartender, and so much more (that we can’t post here)!
Reporting to the President, you will help bring our brand to life by leading and managing the day-to-day operations and motivating the circus clowns that take care of our audience - all while making sure we are responsible and prudent in our business decisions.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Willingness to accept the most effective role;
Work closely with the Senior Team (particularly the founders and business heads) to implement the brand standards and operating procedures for the location-based facility;
Day to Day responsibility for the operation of the location-based facility and execution of the business plan;
Human Resource responsibility for all carnies with direct supervision of Area Managers, including hiring, motivation, scheduling, performance management, coaching, and consultation;
Work with our PR and marketing team to articulate opportunities within the operations to drive guest business;
Oversee the food and beverage team for entertainment, quality, and execution of their goals including financial and brand;
Responsible for creating and maintaining an operating budget; develop and implement strategies as needed to stay within budget;
Provide daily, weekly and monthly financial reporting packages.
Position is based in Los Angeles
5+ years of full service operations experience, ideally in location based entertainment/hospitality with food and beverage facilities
Outstanding communication skills and an ability to lead a team of young, energetic service workers
Willing to build a brand, work with a corporate team, and lead your location based team to achieve the brand and operational goals
Strong guest service skills
Experience with food and beverage, budgets, human resources and maintenance
Familiarity and passion for immersive entertainment and games
Strong analytical skills
Education: High school diploma required, Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred;
Experience working in a start-up environment;
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis;
Requires regular and predictable attendance;
Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check;
