Two Bit Circus has opened a micro-amusement park in DTLA!
What is a micro-amusement park, you ask? A 50,000 ft² venue in the Arts District featuring re-imagined midway and arcade games, interactive story rooms, re-imagined carnival food, mastered mixology, and so much more (that we can’t post here)!
Reporting to and under the direction of the Operations Director, you will coordinate projects for the HQ ops team to deliver to the park ops team(s), give administrative support to the Ops Director and Operations team, and commit to a full understanding of park operations in order to fulfill the job responsibilities listed below.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Willingness to accept the most effective role;
Each month create the Monthly Budget Tracker and daily pull information from the POS to input into the Monthly Budget Tracker ensuring accurate and real-time data;
Submit Creative Request Forms (CRFs) for new graphic or designed assets based on the schedule of new promotions and rollouts. This includes all menu or item changes to ensure the price or item has been updated/adjusted on all platforms (digital, printed, POS, Embed, website, etc.).
Manage & submit first-run print order to the printing vendor as needed;
Format weekly ops agenda according to the Director of Operations’ direction;
Administrative support to Operations Director & Operations team in the rollout of any new processes for the park ops (such as creating SOPs);
Miscellaneous park procurement as needed, including research & purchasing;
Responsible for uploading documents into Adobe DocuSign and maintaining strong document records, maintaining strictest confidentiality at all times;
When authorized and instructed to, coordinate complementary experiences for Marketing or P/R and the park GS Supervisor(s);
Partner with Director of Ops to ensure new attraction pricing and reporting, and general integration, is set-up correctly for every attraction rollout or change. Follow the SOP for Guru Management for any game or pricing edits;
Works with vendors to receive competitive pricing and brand consistency for park team t-shirts and uniform orders, ensures consistency across all parks of the logo and brand uniformity;
In general, maintain the strictest confidentiality of confidential information and demonstrates a keen sense of good judgment;
Additional duties as assigned.
Position is based in Los Angeles;
A bachelor’s degree and two to three years of relevant work experience required;
Relevant professional experience in project coordination for entertainment, themed entertainment, or hospitality industry is preferred;
Very frequently uses Excel. Must be extremely well-versed in Excel (must easily navigate custom sorts, filtering tables, complex formulas linked to multiple Worksheets, creating, manipulating and viewing subsets of PivotTables);
Somewhat frequently creates presentation decks. Well-versed PowerPoint and Google Slides to creating a presentation is important (must easily navigate inserting and formatting art, composing animation, time effects and media, creating notes and custom slide shows;
Previous professional experience using project management tools such as Asana, Basecamp, Trello, or comparable is preferred;
Experience working in a start-up environment is helpful, but not required;
Adobe Photoshop (and anything in Creative Cloud) is extremely useful, but not required;
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis;
Requires regular and predictable attendance.
Requires successful completion of criminal background check.
The physical demands of this position require the employee to regularly use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hand and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time, exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 9:30am to 6:00pm. Due to the park’s hours of operation and the schedules of the park staff, occasional evenings and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
