Two Bit Circus has opened a micro-amusement park in DTLA!
What is a micro-amusement park, you ask? A 50,000 ft² venue in the Arts District featuring re-imagined midway and arcade games, interactive story rooms, re-imagined carnival food, mastered mixology, and so much more (that we can’t post here)!
Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for ensuring guests of Two Bit Circus receive world-class service entertainment experience every visit. Additionally, this manager is responsible to directly supervise the Entertainment Supervisor and the Amusements (Game Tech) Supervisor. This manager is responsible to supervise the performance and conduct of all entertainment employees, including Barkers and Club 01 Attendants, who are assigned to various shifts, assignments, and events and indirectly supervise the Game Technicians. The Entertainment Manager is responsible for excellent customer service, ensuring attractions are operating at capacity, excellent at problem-solving and enforcing and recommending company policies/procedures.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for the profit of the midway games, arcades and Club 01 shows. Maximization of both positive guest experience and profit is accomplished through:
Effective management and training of Barkers (Entertainment Attendants) and Game Tech staff, in addition to
Critical analysis of the attraction’s guest through-put ratios and turn-around metrics of each attraction, in addition to:
Experience with reservation systems and strong comprehension of queuing systems and methods to maximize capacity plans and optimize through-put of guests;
Achieve sales goals through a team-wide adherence to Company standards and procedures as well as capacity plan oversight, input, and accountability;
Manager on Duty for opening and/or closing shifts; Complete end-of-day tasks with running sales data, making cash deposits, and corresponding paperwork when responsible for opening/closing shift;
Ensure all Entertainment staff are engaging guests and attracting an appropriate number of players of midway, arcade, Club 01 experiences, trinkets, and other entertainment experiences for guests of 2BC;
Oversee the Supervisor’s creation of work schedules and assignments of employees to specific stations;
Responsible to oversee that the Supervisors recruit, select, train and develop the 2BC entertainment employees to deliver the highest quality service standards and entertainment experience;
Ensures the Entertainment Supervisors and Entertainment Leads train all Entertainment staff on game operation and rules to relay to the guests using appropriate training materials and submits checklists to HQ Ops & HR;
Deliver servant-leadership for the Entertainment team. Supervise the completion of written performance reviews, absence reports, supervise staff with time and attendance along with work ethics. Sit in meetings of discipline and performance evaluation with the appropriate Supervisor. Work with General Manager to create monthly SMART goals for Entertainment Supervisor(s), providing leadership and guidance to supervisors to ensure they achieve their monthly goals;
Review department timesheets for accuracy;
Counsel and train employees as needed;
Monitors the performance and conduct of all entertainment employees. Is responsible for providing exceptional guest experience at Two Bit Circus. Must work in a professional, cooperative and service-focused manner with both external and internal clients of 2BC;
Responsible to oversee engagement programs fostering player development (such as the development of leagues) to increase player retention; Work with HQ and the General Manager and to develop frequent player special events and rewards programs;
Responsible to ensure the quality and accuracy of all logs and reports generated (attractions play reports, attractions repair/report logs) and kept by Entertainment and Amusements (Game Tech) Supervisor;
Conducts internal investigations when necessary. Is responsible for developing and updating the department standard operating procedures;
Comply, implement and adhere to all legal and ethical instructions. Responsible for creating and conducting on-going in-service training to all entertainment employees;
Represent 2BC in an exemplary manner;
Communicate any deficiencies or guest comments to staff;
Conducts alcohol and age restriction control in accordance with applicable laws and company policies;
Additional duties as assigned.
Position is based in Los Angeles;
Education: High-school diploma required, Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred;
Minimum 3-5 years supervisory experience in hospitality, entertainment, or restaurant environment. Experience in a supervisory role at location-based entertainment venue with attractions and/or arcade games and experience with queuing and reservation systems is essential;
Minimum 2 years of experience staffing/planning in an entertainment or hospitality environment;
Previous experience with Embed, Intercard, Sacoa and/or other cashless systems is a plus;
Ability to exhibit leadership qualities, motivate staff and lead by example;
Ability to maintain good business relations with employees, guests and service providers;
Ability to manage crisis’ and the ability to work under pressure;
Ability to interact effectively and calmly with angry or emotional guests, clients and employees;
Ability to create, implement and present training materials and programs to 2BC employees;
Must be flexible regarding schedule, as it is based on business demands;
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Requires regular and predictable attendance;
Requires successful completion of a criminal background check.
