About the Role | Who are we looking for?
7thSense have recently begun an exciting new multi-year project that requires us to grow our team of enthusiastic experts. This project necessitates that we recruit a Systems Lead Engineer to join our Systems and Support Team as a primary technical liaison for the successful delivery of this project.
Throughout this project you will gain an in-depth knowledge of our core Delta Media Server and Juggler hardware, as well as our DeltaServer, DeltaGUI, and Compere software, suggesting improvements based on your own experience and customer feedback.
The successful candidate can ensure that projects are delivered on time with technical accuracy.
We have a strong reputation for outstanding customer and installation support – you will oversee site commissioning efforts and assist with project documentation for large-scale projects.
The right candidate will quickly become an expert in the use of the product and should have, or can rapidly develop, a deep technical understanding of the product, and of our industry.
The candidate should be comfortable working alone or as part of a small team. This includes assisting in software & hardware installation, end-user training, and sales and demo support.
You are creative, proactive, and forward-thinking, and able to quickly integrate into the team.
The candidate may spend a majority of their first six months working out of our Detroit office

Candidates must have professional experience in all the following areas, with evidence of regular use in the last 6 months as essential:
Professional experience as a user of show control systems and PC-based media playback systems
Solid grasp of Windows, PC internal components, and basic IP networking
Solid grasp of audio-visual and control systems flow, media production workflows, and digital media formats
Proven good attitude, resourcefulness, dedication, mature communication, and decision-making under pressure of high-profile projects.
Valid passport for international travel
