The COST of Wisconsin Inc. team creates custom themed projects for museums, theme and water parks, aquariums, zoological exhibits, and other unique assignments. Under limited supervision, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process including coordinating resources, scheduling, planning, and physical construction. Ensures projects are effectively executed within budgeted cost, time schedules and ensure positive cash flow. Position is key interface with the customer and responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction, safety, and quality assurance on all assigned projects.
Essential Job Duties
Oversees and coordinates all project aspects of varying levels of complexity from award through completion of project. Prepares project installation plan, manages the plan and prepares and implements job procedures.
Effectively translates and communicates project requirements from the customer to the project team and wider organization as and when required, and maintains accurate and up to date records of job status, job changes, material flow and other control records necessary for processing of internal and external reports.
Identifies potential project risks and develops/implements strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines.
Proactively communicates project schedules, project change proposals and related project activities on a regular basis with customer and seeks to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
Coordinates the procurement of materials, supplies, services and controls necessary for timely and cost effective completion of projects within budget.
Establishes project milestones and analyzes costs: review actual vs. estimated job costs to provide timely and accurate project cost reports; identify reasons for low productivity or delays and determine impact on the project; adjusts or corrects project plan and/or project cost estimates as necessary to meet financial goals.
Manages the execution and review of all scope of work, terms and conditions in customer contracts including cost control, delivery fulfillment, and quality of service and other customer requirements as they arise.
Travels to job sites (by car or airplane), or other satellite offices, as requested or required.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Maintains Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Project skills.
Experienced in one or more of the following industries: themed construction, architecture, structure, or landscape architecture/design.
Holds Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management and/or equivalent experience.
Requires the ability to operate various office equipment to include a computer, copier, and/or fax machine. Requires a familiarity with word processing, database, spreadsheet and graphics software. Ability to comprehend and compose various documents.
