Creative Experience Designer

Studio of Art and Commerce are looking for a live experience designer to join the team to start immediately and work with us on a world class immersive experience. We are creating the biggest experiential center the world has ever seen, bringing together the best in creative design, innovative technology and exhilarating live experience. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an entertainment architect to help shape a world first attraction of this scale. We are looking to create an entertainment experience that will be remembered forever. 

The project is the development of three 10 - 15,000sqm immersive experience attractions within mega-entertainment malls. Each location has their own ‘creative story’ to be brought to life through different connected spaces that will use the latest immersive technology, art sculptures and an opportunity for ‘rides’ and incredible world first activations. The role is to help develop the journey through each space as well as help develop the overarching narrative that links the three locations together, encouraging the public to visit all separate locations (roughly 20 minutes apart). 

The role will include the introduction of new technologies, existing creative activation idea development / enhancement and then briefing / working alongside technical production partners to bring to life in a ‘real’ way.

SENIOR EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

• Architectural - The project is a large-scale immersive experience that needs to have every aspect beautifully crafted in design. Therefore architectural experience is key to ensure the experience, F&B , design and museum experience, with stage design.
• Technical Production - Understanding and experience of using latest technology - AR, VR, Projection, Large scale technical sculptures etc.
• Stage Design - As with architectural, each interactive activation much stand alone as beautiful and creative design.
• 3D visualisation - Have the ability to bring their designs/idea to life using 3D software
• Content Design - Given this will be an immersive space, they need to understand the use of content to bring the journey to life.
• Production briefing & management - Identifying and briefing technical production partners to bring ideas to life through creative proposal, renders etc.

WHAT WE NEED WITHIN THE INITIAL THREE MONTH PROJECT:

Creative Experience Design (in collaboration with ECD):

• Enhance and develop the overarching brand for the experiences, communicating the creative into a world class experience narrative - exciting and attracting guests from all over the globe. Translating this story into the individual locations (how those are linked together in order to encourage visiting full sites).
• Narrative development for each individual location and element experience. Building on initial design to create a multi-sensory story that wows guests, and gives a consumer experience that can be brought to life through immersive experiences, technology, F&B and merchandise. 
• Creative development / proposal of each element experience, matching the narrative to specific activation proposals. Each activation proposal to showcase detail of user experience.
• Proposition of new and innovative technologies / performances to create world leading multi sensory user experiences. Building on those previously presented to clients, but ensuring these are brought to life in totally unique ways.
• Proposal of partners for production of each element experience (in conjunction with suggestions from Studio team)
• Bring initial ideas to life using 3D software such as Sketch Up and then oversee more detailed visual renders of each experience as a walkthrough of each location.
